Built in 1910, this 15ft by 75ft row house was in need of some love. Alongside Jenner Design Studio and his wife, Emily, Mark and his team created a light-filled and open concept main floor, added 3 bedrooms and a large family bath to the 2nd storey and underpinned the basement to create a legal 1 bedroom apartment.
A high efficiency boiler powering the hydronic in-floor heat in the basement and an Airmax High Velocity Airhandler with attached humidifier, served the main and second floors. As this system takes less than a third of the space of a conventional heating and cooling unit, it was the right choice for this narrow row.
